Description

Tourism in Himachal Pradesh was restricted only to a limited movement of pilgrims to a few spiritual destinations in around the hills. Only when the British established their chain of hill stations did tourism receive recognition in the State. Tourism activity received a shot in the arm when British declared Shimla “The Summer Capital of India” in 1864. Post independence, more investment in the infrastructure sector led to opening up of Tourism in the State. However the biggest boost to tourism occurred in the mid 80s and 90s.

Day 1-
Arrive Delhi - Shimla (350 kms approx 8-10 Hrs):

Drive from Delhi to Shimla (350kms / 8hrs - 10hrs) arrive Shimla. Transfer to hotel. Overnight at Shimla. 

After Breakfast Excursion to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride (Extra cost) Adventure Park , Fagu valley, Wild flower hall, Mini Zoo, and One can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri,. Shimla Vice regal Lodge built in (1885),Jakhu Temple,The Scandal Point and The famous Shopping Plaza of the North The Mall. O/N stay at Hotel Shimla.

(Note:- Jakhu temple accessible only by small vehicle).

After breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Manali En-route visit Pandoh Dam, Hanogi mata temple, Kullu Valley, check-in at the hotel and relax. Enjoy a Dinner and over night stay at Manali.

Walk through town visiting newly constructed Buddhist Monastery. Hadimba Devi temple build in 1553 CE by Maharaja Bahadur Singh. This temple situated in the dense forest. Hadimba is said to be the wife of Bhima from the epic of Mahabharata. Vashishat. it is an extremely picturesque little place clinging to the steep hill side. On the way up to the village you come upon the Vashishat hot baths where a natural sulphar spring is piped into a modern bath house. Dinner and Overnight at Manali.

Visit to Snow point/Rohtang Pass or Atal Tunnel is subject to permit permission as per NGT guideline after Gulaba Barrier (cost Extra to visit after Gulaba Barier towards Rohtnag Pass and directly payable by Guest after with our office at Manali through proper channel., (Every Tuesday Rohatng Pass is closed).

After breakfast drive to Dharamshala and enroute visit to Kullu, Pandoh Dam,Vaidyanath Shiva Temple baijnath and Chamunda Devi Temple at Chamuda.Overniggt stay at Dharamshala.

After breakfast visit to Dalai Lama and Bhagsu Nag Temple (Waterfall 200 kms visit by Walk), Tibetian Monestry / Dharamshala stadium / Naddi village etc. After that drive to Dalhousie. Overnight at Dalhousie.

After breakfast Visit Dalhousie local sight seen i.e. Panchpulasatdhara (Water Fall) & overnight at Dalhousie.

After breakfast drive to Delhi and drop at evening at railway station or Airport.
